In the words of Rose Danford Phillips... ‘welcome to our world’
In life we’re greeted daily by a sea of off-white, dull grey and bland beige... but in Our World, we’re surrounded by magnificent, opulent col- our. It’s not that I set out to be bold, but my love of colour always leads me to make vibrant pieces that bring me joy, and I think they’ll bring you joy too.
From graphic neons to subtle earthy tones, the most beautiful colours comes from nature, which is why it’s my ultimate inspiration. All of my prints are inspired by real flora and fauna, and sometimes even geology, perfectly adapted for homes and wardrobes.
Who is Rose Danford Phillips
Rose founded her eponymous fashion brand in 2019 as part of the House of Peroni, focusing on creating beautiful colourful clothes for stylish women. Her designs have been featured in British, Italian and Chi- nese Vogue, Dazed and Wonderland among others, and worn by celebri- ties including Halsey, Erykah Badu and Grace Carter. Rose Danford-Phillips is a multidiclipary designer focused on creating colourful beauty inspired by nature across textiles, fashion and interiors. Rose grew up surrounded by nature... ...in her family’s South London garden and allotment, Roots and Shoots’ wildlife garden, and holidays spent at almost every botanical garden in Britain. Rose’s childhood spent catching frogs and climbing trees instilled in her a deep love and respect for nature and biodiversity, which we imbue in every piece.
Rose’s love of colour and material led her to Chelsea College of Art & Design to study textiles, where she realised she could fuse her passion for art with her love of clothes, style and interiors with stun- ning prints. Rose then went on to study Fashion at the Royal College of Art, where she wowed with a final collection inspired by rewilding.
